- Shin guards must be worn during all practices and games for player safety.

Division Eligibility & Player Placement
Play-Up Requests
- Division placement is determined by the player’s age as of August 31 of the current season.
- Players may request to play up to a higher division prior to registration by submitting a request to registration@timbergrovesports.org.
Due to capacity limits, play-ups are not granted for 4U-6U divisions
Fall Season Divisions
For the fall season, TSA offers both co-ed (open) and girls-only divisions at select age levels:
- 4U Division: Co-ed
- 5U Division: Co-ed
- 6U Division: Co-ed
- 8U Division: Girls and Open Divisions
- 10U Division: Girls and Open Divisions
- 12U Division: Girls and Open Divisions
Girls are encouraged to participate in either division based on their preference.
Important Note:
If registration numbers do not support separate girls-only divisions, divisions may be combined into a single co-ed division. In this case, any player originally registered for a girls-only division will have the option to withdraw and receive a full refund.
Spring Season Divisions
For the spring season, TSA offers separate girls and boys divisions at the following levels:
- 6U Division: Girls and Boys Divisions
- 8U Division: Girls and Boys Divisions
- 10U Division: Girls and Boys Divisions
- 12U Division: Girls and Boys Divisions
What This Means for Families
players have the best possible experience, whether they prefer co-ed or gender-specific play.
Games
Primarily weekends (Saturday & Sunday), with occasional weekday games
Practices
At least one per week, scheduled by team head coaches
Location
Timbergrove Sports Complex, 1600 Bevis Street, Houston, TX
Ages and Divisions
Division is determined by age of player as of April 30. Players can request to play up prior to the beginning of registration.
- Shetland Division: T-Ball for athletes 4-6 years old
- Pinto Division: Coach pitch for athletes 7-8 years old
- Mustang Division: Player pitch for athletes 9-10 years old
- Bronco Division: Player pitch for athletes 11-12 years old
- Pony Division: Player pitch for athletes 13-15 years old
Equipment Needed
Baseball players will need a glove and helmet with facemask. It is recommended they have baseball (or soccer) cleats. Bats are optional.

Game and Practice Commitments
Games are typically played on weekends (Saturday or Sunday), but may sometimes occur on weeknights. At least one practice per week can be expected. Games are played at the Timbergrove Sports Complex at 1600 Bevis Street. More details on the field locations can be found here.
Practice locations and dates/times are chosen by the coach at the start of the season.

Parent Volunteers/Coaches
All TSA teams are staffed by volunteer coaches, assistant coaches, and team parents. The success of our league is largely dependent on the generosity and commitment of our volunteers. If you are interested in being a head coach or an assistant coach, please email baseball@timbergrovesports.org.
